"Boy & Girl"
The video will follow both of the main characters, at seperate times, while they walk around in a daydream. Transitions will occur to change view from male to the female and vise versa. As they are in a daydream the world will not be the same - weird things happen. Like:
- Homeless men walking with business briefcases, glasses and mobile phones
- Vampire walking dog in daylight
- A selection of Halloween marked people walking by (werewolf, witch etc.)
- Drag Queen/s doing DIY work
- People randomly burst into dance, break down and/or run away
- Group of people dancing in a small play park
All the music video will be in daylight apart from the opening sequence which will be set in mid morning however it will be dark - adding to the effect of the daydream. The opening is a POV shot which trails from outside a street -> up to a house -> through the house -> to the boy's bed. After the main characters walk around - as if they are lost and looking for 'love' - they will bump into eachother, ending the daydream are become interested in one another.
Although the ideas have been partly put together, we decided that planning all the "spontaneous" things would lessen the effect - cause they are planned and aren't as unpredictable - so on the shooting day other random things will take place hopefully making an impact.
